This self-emptying rain gauge has an 8,000-tip memory capacity and automatically records up to 80" of rainfall data using the HOBO Event Rainfall Logger (included)
Product Description
Housing: Extruded aluminum with baked-on enamel finish. The shafts, screws and nuts are stainless steel and the shaft collars are brass. Funnel: Aluminum, held in place by tension clips.
Memory modes: Stop when full or wrap-around when full. Mount on vertical or horizontal surface.
Operating temperature: 32F to 125F (0C to 50C). Storage temperature: -4F to 158F (-20C to 70C). Relative humidity range (when logger case is open): 0 to 95%, non-condensing. Dimensions: 9"H x 6.5" diameter.
Accuracy: 1% (up to 1" per hour). Time accuracy: +/- 1 minute per week at 68F (20C). Rainfall resolution: 0.01".
Use the optional HOBO Shuttle (sold separately) for readout and relaunch in the field. Note: BoxCar 3.7 Starter Kit or BoxCar Pro 4.3 Starter Kit (each sold separately) is required to operate HOBO Event loggers.
