Liquiport benefits
Simple and user-friendly interactive menu with "Quick-Setup" for rapid commissioning. This unit has one user mode program as standard, up to 7 programs are possible as an option. A user mode program is a preset location or configuration.
Up to four main programs are available.
A program can be triggered by any of the following criteria:
Time: The sample is taken after a preset time.
Quantity: The sample is taken after a predetermined measured flow quantity.
Ext. signal: The sample is taken when an external signal is active on a digital input.
Flow: The sample is taken after a preset time. The sample volume is always taken proportional to the measured flow rate.
Several sample mode criteria can be defined at a time. There is an OR connection among the defined criteria. In other words, once a switch criterion is met, the assigned switching program is executed.
Sampler compartment can be sealed, locked and carried separately for easy and safe sample transportation.
Communicative Data Management and RS232 interface for configuring and for data transmission.
Internal Data Logger
The Liquiport 2000 sampler has an internal data logger in which the following measured values can be stored:
Analogue signal (example: flow signal)
Sampling protocol (sample volume, bottle filling times, results).
As an option, the Liquiport has an additional RS232 connection socket for a multi-parameter sensor.
The following multi-parameter sensors can be connected to this socket, MultiSens C600, YSI 600R, YSI 600 XL, YSI 600 XLM, YSI 6920, YSI 6820, YSI 6600.
The minimum scan rate of the internal data logger is 1 second for the analogue signal and 1 minute for the multi-parameter sensor measurements. The contents of the internal data logger can be read out to a PC using
Liquid Handling and Medium Detection System
The medium detection system controls the electronic volume calculation. The medium detection system has a maintenance free ceramic membrane pressure sensor at the heart of the system. The pressure sensor detects the difference between a full and empty pump tube.
The advantages - Intelligent: the suction height is automatically detected and does not have to be configured. Sampling takes place in three steps. Rinsing the suction line: The liquid to be sampled is sucked up until the medium detection system is triggered. Then the pump reverses and pushes the liquid back to the sampling point. The rinsing process can be repeated up to three times. Sucking the sampling liquid: the sampling liquid is sucked from the sampling point to the sampler and the sample volume is calculated electronically. Emptying the suction line: after sampling, the liquid left over in the suction line is pumped back to the sampling point.
You can easily calibrate the sample volume and a three roller peristaltic pump offers the maximum lift possible.
Sample distribution
The sample liquid is emptied into single bottles using a revolving distribution tap. Changing distribution systems can be easily done without tools. The Liquiport 2000 also enables a flexible configuration for the sample distribution. Single bottles and bottle groups can be defined for main, switching and event programs.
Time: The distribution tap moves to the next empty bottle after a preset time.
Samples: The distribution tap moves to the next empty bottle after a preset number of samples.
External signal: The distribution tap moves to the next empty bottle when an external signal is active.
Sample storage
The sample bottles are placed in the lower part of the sampler. The samples can be kept cool using crushed ice. The lower part of the sampler can be locked off using an extra lid and can then be transported separately from the upper part.
