OVERVIEW
The AP-2, the little brother to the legendary AP-4. The incomparable AutoPump is the centerpiece of our down-well controllerless systems. It was the first of its kind. Back when we introduced it in 1986, it revolutionized the entire down-well remediation equipment industry. Since then, it has become the benchmark of quality. Other manufacturers attempt to imitate it. Yet nothing else comes close to matching its proven performance. Until now, with the AP-2.
First introduced in 1989 and now reintroduced with many field tested refinements, the AP-2 shares the same time proven design as the original AP-4 AutoPump. So you know it's tough, inside and out.
The AP-2 offers many other benefits that come only from a controllerless product. Benefits like no freezing problems. Or constant adjustment. Or air that's wasted by bubblers, bleeders or by depressurizing the air line after each cycle. it's explosion-proof. And it has no motors, seals, or impellers to burn out or maintain. Changing it from a bottom- to a top-loader (or vice versa) is an easy field operation requiring no special tools. In short, the AP-2 is without peer in efficiency and reliability.
AP-2's are top-loading, fixed intake controllerless pneumatic pumps that recover free floating product and water. These AutoPumps function in depths up to 500 feet, flow rates over 2 GPM, and in wells 2 inches and larger. This controllerless system works without the use of any external controls, bleeders, or bubblers. AutoPump Total Fluids Recovery Systems consist of an AutoPump (an automatic, controllerless, air-displacement pump), filter/pressure regulator, hose and hardware package, and well cap.
