AMS Signature Series Extension for Augers and Core Samplers
AMS extensions are available in Signature Series, threaded and Quick Connect connections. AMS extensions are manufactured with 4130 chrome molybdenum tubing and are also available in 300 series stainless steel. The Signature Series extension are yellow zinc coated chrome molybdenum for added rust resistance. The Signature Series extensions are fitted with the heavier thread design of the Signature Series connection. The threaded chrome molybdenum extensions are available with two connection sizes, 5/8" thread and 3/4" thread. While the 5/8" thread will accommodate most AMS hand sampling equipment, the 3/4" thread has been specially designed for the 6" and 7" threaded augers. The welded fittings by AMS craftsmen on all extensions offers maximum strength and torque resistance. Adapters will allow for interchange among your Signature Series, 5/8" threaded, and Quick Connect augers and accessories.
